QuoteLogic is born
I found myself at the mercy of a particularly frustrating Configure Price Quote (CPQ) tool. To say it was a nightmare would be an understatement. The process of creating a simple proposal felt like trying to sprint through quicksand. I can't make this up. It was maddening.
Every time I had to create a quote for my customers I was losing valuable time to an inefficient system that made even the simplest tasks unbearable. I wasn't alone in my frustration. Countless colleagues echoed the same complaints.
So I started searching for a new solution. There had to be something better than what my company was using, right? But the more I searched, the more I realized my company wasn't being cheap or short-sighted. The solution just didn't exist.
Industry players with big names, big promises, and even bigger budgets were all failing at the same basic requirements: usability and speed.
Today's CPQ tools are so overbloated with complexity that teams spend more time re-learning the software every time they open it than actually quoting deals.
It became clear to me that what the industry needed was an application so intuitive and fast that even a child could use it. An app salespeople could take with them from company to company and get their work done effortlessly, without having to re-learn an antiquated system every time.
I asked for a better CPQ for years. I created QuoteLogic because I got tired of waiting.
QuoteLogic is built differently. It treats quoting as a system, not a document. Products are structured. Pricing is deterministic. Quotes aren't rebuilt, they're updated and shared. That's what makes it fast. That's what makes it work.
I built QuoteLogic in public. Follow along on The Build.
