Create a Quote

Creating a quote in QuoteLogic is fast and flexible. When you open the app, you start on a blank quote. You can immediately explore pricing, search products, and build configurations without saving anything.

Start with a Blank Canvas

A new quote does not need a name to begin.

You can:

• Search for products using the search bar
• Browse the catalog to explore product groupings
• Add and remove items like a shopping experience

This allows you to use QuoteLogic as both a quoting tool and a product discovery engine.

Save the Quote

A quote becomes a saved record once it is named.

• Quotes are tracked by a unique ID
• The name can be changed at any time
• Saving allows the quote to be revisited, shared, or exported

Configure the Quote

Before or after adding products, you can configure:

• Pricing Terms (term length, list multipliers, display options)
• Customer (required)
• Partner / Distributor (optional)
• Notes (custom terms or overrides)
• Expiration Date (defaults to 30 days)

Build the Quote

Products can be added in two ways:

• Search directly using the search input
• Browse the catalog and select products

Once added, products appear in the quote table.

You can:

• Adjust quantity
• Apply discounts (global or per line)
• Modify pricing inputs

All calculations update instantly.

Adjust Pricing

QuoteLogic allows flexible pricing adjustments:

• Global discounts applied from the Pricing panel
• Line-level discounts applied directly in the table
• Credits and trade-ins added through Adjustments

All pricing updates are calculated in real time.

Output

Once complete, the quote can be exported as a PDF or saved as a .quotelogic file for later use.
