Quote Output

QuoteLogic generates structured, shareable PDFs and .quotelogic output for every quote. The output is dynamic, allowing you to control what is viewed (e.g. multi-view) while preserving all underlying data.

What the PDF Includes

Each exported quote contains:

  • Quote details (Quote ID, creator, dates)
  • Customer information
  • Product line items and quantities
  • Pricing, discounts, and totals
  • Automatically generated support items (if enabled)
  • Optional Fine Print sections

Dynamic Display

You can control what is shown in the PDF without changing the underlying quote data.

From the Pricing and PDF panels, you can toggle visibility for:

  • List pricing and discounts
  • Part numbers
  • Partner pricing
  • Distributor pricing

This allows you to tailor the output for different audiences (e.g. customer vs partner) while maintaining a single source of truth.

Branding & Formatting

You can also control presentation elements:

  • Include or exclude your company logo
  • Include or exclude Fine Print
  • Add a draft watermark

This ensures the quote is appropriate for its stage (internal review vs customer delivery).

Data Integrity

All data remains part of the quote, even when hidden in the PDF.

  • Visibility settings do not remove data
  • Pricing and calculations remain consistent
  • The exported document reflects a filtered view of the same quote

Traceability

Each PDF includes a unique Quote ID.

  • Quotes are tracked by ID, not name
  • The Quote ID can be used to quickly locate the quote in QuoteLogic
  • This ensures consistency between shared documents and internal records

Export Options

Quotes can be exported as:

  • PDF (for sharing and delivery)
  • .quotelogic file (for saving and reopening)

This allows quotes to be both externally shared and internally reusable.
