Support Rules

Support Rules automatically add support line items to quotes based on your pricing logic.

When a product has auto_support set to true and a Support Rules file is imported into the system, QuoteLogic generates the corresponding support item during quoting.

Support items are derived from the root product:

  • Use the original part number with a configurable prefix or suffix
  • Are priced as a percentage of the root item
  • Follow the rules defined in your Support Rules configuration

This ensures support is consistently applied without manual effort.
